During the 2005 Atlantic Rowing Race, 19 boats capsized in the appalling weather and six had to be rescued due to damage or injury. The dramatic rescue of Emily and Sarah, the crew of American Fire Atlantic Challenge (Boat 12) was captured by a US Coastguard C-130 aircraft.
